Back to the daily routine

Hanna As predicted our week in Canada flew by super quick. We had a really nice time though. Quebec is a truly lovely province. The second resort we stayed at was even nicer, especially the rooms. The only drawback was that there was no cell phone signal and the wi-fi internet in the room barely worked. On the up side we got to hear some loons on the lake in the morning when waking up. So that was cool. :)

One day we took a day trip to Mount Tremblant. Checked out the village there and had lunch at a brewpub. Then drove through the national park, hiked to a small waterfall and came across some really neat scenery. Mike & I also went into Montreal one day and the last day my parents drove towards Montreal with us and we had lunch at Les Trois Brasseurs (a really cool brewpub) in Laval.

Now it's back to work and every day stuff. Today we unpacked everything, did laundry, caught up on some things. Next week the payroll girl who was on vacation should be back so that should help a lot. Still need to find a new permanent employee as well.

Short mail update for today. Letters going out tomorrow to: Charles/TN and Carmen/Malta. Received letters from: Sayaka/Japan. (there might be more in the mail but we still have the mail held at the post office from our trip - need to get it tomorrow finally)

Sounds like a wonderful trip. We've stayed places in New England with not much of a signal. One place, there was a spot in the parking lot - the only place where a signal was available. And I love loons. We lived on Lake George some years back, and the loons were plentiful. I just loved them.
Glad you made it home safely!
