Nothing much new really. Work .. same old stuff. :)
Just thought I'd write a few lines anyway.
My vacation is coming up really soon now. I am leaving next week Friday (August 8). Wow, time sure has flown by. Can't believe it's so soon now.
Well, Austria here I come. :) I will be mostly relaxing and enjoying my time off from work so that should be nice. Of course I will miss Mike but I guess it's just a week so we will be ok. :)

This weekend really flew by ... can't believe it's Sunday night already again.

Well, today we went to a baseball game. NY Mets against the Cincinnati Reds at Shea Stadium in New York City. Of course the Mets lost ... but it was still a fun day. The weather was nice and we were sitting in the shade with a nice strong breeze going on so it wasn't all that brutally hot either.

After the game we went to our favorite pizza place Arturo's in the Village. They have the BEST brick oven pizza. Very yummy garlic and mushroom pizza. :)

Well, tomorrow it's back to work ... I wish weekends would last longer.

It was a very, very slow day at work today ... Very strange. I don't think I have experienced a day like that in a long time. I was actually getting bored. :) Well let's hope I am not paying for it tomorrow. But at least I have Saturday and Sunday off so that's good. :) My friend Sharon picked me up after work and we went to Bertucci's. They have the best Italian food and of course I ate way too much.

And after that we were off to the movies to see How to deal. Very much a teenie movie but I liked it. Sometimes I can be a teenager at heart. :) Well tomorrow it's back to work but thank god it's already Friday ! :)

Nothing too exciting happened this week. I was at work from Monday through Saturday training my new collegue. In the evenings I was working on my new webpages. Now I am finally done with it so I can show it off to everybody.
I was working on some pages about my new home state Connecticut. It's about time since I have lived here for two years now. :)

Besides that we went to Red Lobster tonight. They have the best food, very yummy. :)
Tomorrow it's back to work. Oh well I guess.

Nothing much new today. I am at work, just thought I'd write a couple lines.
It's Friday ... so that's good. :)
Although I am working on Saturday so I guess it doesn't really matter that much. Plus it's raining .... AGAIN. Oh well.
My cold is getting a little better so at least that's good.
Well, that's all the exciting news I have for now. :)

Not a bad week so far. :)
I have been training a new guy who started on Monday. So far so good. Keep your fingers crossed for me that it all works out. :)
I am actually sort of enjoying the training. It's nice to be able to sit back and supervise. But it will also be nice to be able to go back to my regular job next week.
Nothing much else exciting going on. Been working on some new pages for the site. I will let you all know when they are done.

Finally a day off from work. :) It was a beautiful Saturday ... a very nice summer day. It's July 12 today ... the day Mike proposed to me and the day we had our American wedding ceremony last year.

So I guess you could say it's sort of our anniversary today. I am the only girl with two anniversaries. :) To see the wedding pictures from last year, click here. Today we went to Newport, Rhode Island. It's so pretty there. It's right by the ocean. There were lots of sailboats out on the water. We walked around the town, looked at some shops and old houses. After that we had a late lunch/early dinner at a restaurant called The Red Parrot. Yummy. :) Had a really nice day. :) Love you Mike. :)

It was another busy day at work ... But at least the week is finally winding down so that's definitely a plus. :) My friend Sharon picked me up after work and we went to Ruby Tuesday's. After that we walked around the mall. Bought some really nice stuff at Bath and Body Works. Love that store. And after that we were off to the movies to see Legally Blonde 2. Cute movie ! :) Well tomorrow it's back to work but thank god it's already Friday ! :)

Been really busy at work. My co-worker quit last Thursday so it's just been one busy day after another since then. Left work around 6:30 last night and about the same tonight.
I guess the paycheck will be nice with all this overtime.
Well, the plan is to hire somebody new by Monday so I can start training them next week. Let's hope everything works out. Will keep you all updated. :)

Changed the layout of the main page around. I was getting tired of the old look. Thought it needed something new ... summery .. beachy. :)
Besides that I have been pretty much relaxing today. It's really hot again today so I have just been lazy, drinking iced tea and working on my webpage. With the fan blowing on high of course. :)
It's nice to have a day off .... really don't feel like going back to work tomorrow. Oh well.
