Let it Snow
Sunday Fun Day. :) Always happy when it's the weekend. Haven't really been doing all that much but that's ok. A relaxing weekend isn't a bad thing. This past week was fine. I had the dental implant surgery on Tuesday and then was off on Wednesday to recuperate a bit. All in all not too terrible. I have a follow up appointment tomorrow, Monday, to make sure all is healing ok but yeah I think should be fine. The pain was just bad the first day and a half or so. Since then it hasn't been bad really. So that's something.
Thursday and Friday I worked as normal - still WFH - I don't know when we will actually be able to go back to the office. I was going for a while once per week (although there were hardly any people there even then) but then they completely shut down our office in I think late October or early November when there were more spikes again in CT. I am not complaining too much. The work from home thing definitely has its benefits. I have been able to linger in bed much longer in the mornings and of course there is no commute :)
Oh the snow. Forgot to write about that. That was Wednesday night into Thursday morning. We ended up with about 14 inches or so I'd guess. Really heavy wet snow so it was kind of a pain to shovel. So Thursday we spent a good amount of time outside cleaning the car off, the area around the car, walk ways, stairs, etc. It does look pretty I suppose but I am really not a big winter person. But it is what it is. I do like the idea of four seasons so I guess I'll just have to continue to deal.
Yesterday, Saturday, we went to Rizzuto's in Westport for lunch and then hung out at Two Steps for a little bit before calling it an early night. Today we are going to head for brunch at the Marketplace in Brookfield. And going do a TV night later. We finished "The Queen's Gambit" which I thought was really good. And have now started "The Flight Attendant" - on episode 4 now and enjoying that as well. We also need to watch the second season of the Mandalorian. So that will be up next I think.
Crazy to think it's already Christmas next week. Where has this year gone? I guess I am happy 2020 is coming to a close. Let's see what 2021 brings for us.
