Nice relaxing day
This is the first time in a long time that I have had a day off during the week. I guess there are a few reasons. For a while there last year I actually had everything worked out where I didn't have to work Saturdays (a very brief period I might add) Then things started to get more unstable again and I had to work Saturdays but never had the time to take a day off during the week so just ended up accumulating comp days. So anyway, long story short: I have the day off today. :)
I went back to sleep for a while but ended up getting up around 9 am which is actually pretty early for me. I decided that it would be a good idea to make myself an omelette. So I made a veggie omelette (2 eggs, Swiss cheese, broccoli, mushrooms, tomatoes and basil) and had some tea.
Now it's 11:30 and I guess I am going to try and catch up on my emails and then write some letters. I also want to organize all my travel magazines and cut out the articles that I want to save and catalog them. Maybe I will get around to that.
And I guess I should also take down the rest of our Christmas decorations. Our tree has been taken down quite a bit ago but I still haven't taken down the rest of the decorations so I should really do that. February is awfully close and I wouldn't want to have them up then. :)
Short mail update. Since my last update letters have gone out to: Natalia/Poland, Kirsty/UK (2), Eunice/Malta and Lexi/DC. Received letters from/owe replies to: Michelle/Winnipeg, Jetta/Finland, Nadine/Tenerife, Rebecca/FL, Fiona/Scotland, Tizz/Denmark, Pamela/FL, Syvil/PA, Carmen/Germany and Lene/UK.
