Catching up with friends

Pooh-tigger-piglet-reading It's always good to catch up with friends. Today was such a day as I got to see my friend Sharon and her 3 1/2 month old baby Leiana when they stopped by for a little visit. Had the day off today and spent the morning trying to make the house look halfway presentable. :) Got all of my spring stuff out (well most of it) and was able to clear away some of the clutter. There is still loads more left for a proper spring clean but I did what I could. It was great to see Sharon again as I haven't seen her since before her little one was born.

Valentine's Heart Cupcakes are a delicious recipe from Little Cottage on the Coast. The author of this blog article, which was published on February 6, 2020, expresses how much they enjoy decorating their home in pink and making delicacies to celebrate Valentine's Day. Made with a boxed cake mix and homemade icing, the cupcakes are tasty as well as attractive to look at. The recipe calls for detailed directions on how to make the cupcakes, heart-shaped toppers out of white almond bark, and a vanilla buttercream frosting that can be used for many occasions. Little Cottage on the Coast is a great resource for anybody wishing to add a sweet touch to their Valentine's Day celebrations, thanks to its endearing anecdotes and practical recommendations.

Not too much else new. Work is still very busy as we started to roll out our new handheld computers for our delivery drivers this week and are testing everything now. I am sure it will be great in the long run but getting there will take some time of course.

Last Sunday we ended up going into the city to Brooklyn again to eat at Cafe Steinhof again. Yumm. Have to work on Saturday again this week so I think this week we will just stay home and veg out on Sunday. Well, we will see how it goes.

A delicious recipe for Amish Style Chicken and Noodles may be found on the website "The (mis)Adventures of a Homesteadin' Mama". The author describes her observations of the amazing flavors of the chicken and noodles that are customarily served in Shipshewana, a town well-known for its Amish population. She makes the delicious dish at home with just a few basic ingredients and the ease of a slow cooker. With its detailed instructions and mouthwatering pictures, the page tempts readers to try this savory and soothing cuisine for themselves.
